Instead of getting amongst today I am stuck moving and about 2 days behind in photos. Hopefully I can catch up with everything tonight!

I have photos of the last few days coming but unfortunately i have to move today, possibly my most hated parts of life. Hopefully I will be back online tonight posting some photos. Talk about bad timing! Finally get some solid swell and i am stuck moving crap.
Oh yeah ,nearly forgot, the photo is of Mick Fanning (obviously!), freshly crowned ASP World Champ, at Kirra when the new swell first hit.

Swell has been ok but not what I would call fantastic! At least there is swell finally! Now the wind just needs to settle down a bit.

The surf turned up but unfortunately so did the ****** wind! It was howling with rain squalls every five minutes. On top of that, for some reason the CPU coupling between the lens and body died for about an hour while i freaked out before it myseteriously kicked in again! phew! The wave bouys are reading about 2 m of swell, can only hope the wind dies down.
Huley Jr Pro Finals
Attended the semi-finals and finals of the $25,000 first prize, Hurley Junior Pro yesterday. Clean waves but very small unfortunately. It didn’t stop Blake Ainsworth, Chris Friend, Mitch Crews and Dean Bowen destroying a few waves though with Dean taking home a wad of cash!

The surf is totally shizzle today on the Goldie! I was going to head over to Straddie to try and get something but the taxi isn’t running and if people think I am going to swim the seaway they better think again!

Only shot for a little bit today of the sand pumping jetty. Hopefully get back into the water tomorow for some water shots with asher wales and crew.
